Welcome to SOS Community Counseling

SOS is a training facility for Therapists Associates and Trainees, offering mental health treatment and services to our community through collaboration with the schools, the justice system, and through our community counseling clinics.  Our clinics are open to all community members!



Due to the 2018-19 Sonoma County Behavioral Health budget deficits, the funding for our School Based Prevention, Early Intervention (PEI) Programs was cut.  We have identified $148,500 of the $224,000 that we need to get us through this transitional year.  Please consider supporting our efforts and these programs through your tax deductible donation.  Click the link under the image of our student leaders below to pay through PayPal:


Serving Our Community through the Schools, the Justice System, and our Counseling Clinics

  • Community Clinics– Our Community Counseling Clinics located in Santa RosaWindsor, and Rohnert Park are open to all community members.  We provide therapy to individuals, couples, families, and youth on a sliding-scale fee.
  • Schools– Our therapists also provide mental health services including prevention, education, and counseling to students and families in high schools and middle schools in Santa Rosa, Windsor, Healdsburg, Cloverdale, and Rohnert Park.
  • Justice System– We partner with the Police and Sheriff to provide mental health assessments and interventions through the Santa Rosa and Petaluma Mobile Support Team, Juvenile Diversion in Windsor and Healdsburg, and at the Juvenile Justice Center and Detention Camp.

  • Associates and trainees receive training and supervision by our team of clinical supervisors, attend regular all-staff trainings, and have additional training opportunities outside of SOS.
  • Associates and trainees receive a wide variety of experience in population and therapy style while collaborating with or working through our different SOS programs.
